I'm back at the Bell Museum of Natural History on the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis campus. I found a great herring gull specimen tucked in the corner of one of the side hallways. This paper, which is a creamy color (and difficult to scan because of that) has a light cold-press sort of texture that breaks up the pen line. I was using Staedtler Pigment Liners.

This journal, which the previous pages of this section are also from, is about 8 inches square so the spread is about 16 inches wide.
