This bead vessel is made using tubular peyote stitch with a netted cuff. This freestanding vessel was beaded around a cylindrical form. Japanese seed beads size 11/0 as well as 11/0 triangle beads were used. Amber chips complete the fringe decoration. The vessel was made to commemorate the death of Black Ice's Sparkplug (Emma), my Alaskan Malamute. (2.25 x 3.75 inches; Private collection.)
