I find rough, unpolished rocks inspiring. When I came upon these coal-like rocks drilled to use as beads I couldn't resist making this neck choker. It actually sits comfortably around the neck, even if you move suddenly, because the beads are allowed to articulate on their loops. The necklace definitely makes a statement. The entire piece, including the wires each bead hangs from, is coiled with wire. (Silver, pearls, and black rock chunks about 1.25 x .35 inches each.)
