Still coughing, still wanting to sketch something live, but not able to get out and about I fished around in the photo archives for State Fair 2006 photos. (It seems odd, but until I looked I hadn't realized that I didn't take any photos in 2007. Typically I will take some photos to augment the information I gain while sketching the animals from life.) My search turned up some lovely photos which I played with the next few days.
This sheep sketch is with brush pen and some light washes of thinned out gouache. The pre-pasted text actually adds a bit of humor to this page: "I was wondering if it would be convenient for me to have Friday of next week off." |
