This image was mislabeled and so it falls out of order here. I gave the image file an April date! It is actually the first sketch in the Strathmore Aquarius II journal, which I started March 15, at the dentist's office. (Nexus gray pen and watercolor.)
While I was sketching the dental technician came out and started asking me questions. It turns out her daughter is about 9 years old and inclined to draw. I gave her the names of some books she might want to look at to help her child. And of course I gave her my pitch that she too could learn to draw and keep a journal. |
