Gradually the teacher gathered her students and urged them away from me. (She thought they were keeping me from working!) I finished my lion painting and went to join my friends.
Since they were still working on sketches I wanted to keep working, but needed to work fast to be ready to leave when they were finished. I switched to a brush pen and tried to focus on only simplified details. This is a portion of the palace at the gardens. It's much more ornate, but I'm pleased with this version because I got the potted palms and that potted citrus tree! (See the blob behind the right potted palm!) Evidently they roll them about and can position them at will.
For a city that has lovely parks and beautiful boulevards we saw few joggers. We even kept a running total the list was so short. Here, however, there were more joggers than we had seen on all the previous days. A runner once myself it seems sad to me that more people don't run in this city. The dogs certainly wouldn't care!
