This is an 11 x 14 inch Derwent Graphitint, Derwent Drawing, and Faber Castell Albrecht Durer Watesoluble Colored Pencil painting. The painting is on gessoed watercolor paper. An ochre Derwent Drawing was used for the sketching. The rest of the painting was made with Derwent Graphitints which are watersoluble, and a few additions of FCAD Watersoluble Colored Pencils when a certain color shift was needed.
Upon completion of the painting the pineapple was sliced down and consumed and it was very delicious, having just attained the desirable level of ripeness. |
