This is an 8 x 10 inch digital collage that really doesn't survive explanation as it contains several jokes and personal references and was made as a baby gift for a friend's child. Let's just say that every child needs to grow up with dogs in his life; and dogs, so aesthetically aware of everything else, would of course be aware of the niceties of type.
The dog here is an Italian Greyhound, sketched with a brush pen and waterproof ink. Watercolor was then added to the sketch. The sketch was scanned and collaged with the type layers in Photoshop. |
