I went for a walk and didn't want to carry my journal and supplies. On the way back, however, I did want to do a little sketch. Anticipating that I'd brought along a couple sheets of gridded paper from a small pocket notebook, and a pen. I drew the tree that captured my interest and made some notes. That night I pasted the notebook page to my journal page and extended the drawing off the small sheet and onto the journal page. On the recto page a portion of the sign I made to advertise a class is visible. I put a reduced version of it into my journal for record keeping purposes. |
