What can I say? It's a pickle, whole and dissected. If you draw fresh fruit and vegetables the idea of a pickle becomes appealing. I used a brush pen again and gouache. While I was sick I just thought I should do something productive like work on my mixing of greens! I wanted to work on capturing that deadish green color, and a little bit of glistening. I wrote about the smell of spices in the air as I sketched.
I should have written pages and pages of explanations of what I thought the text and images meant together if anything. Now I just smile. |
